Since 1898 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Dutch immigrant, Jerry G. Van Holten started in business by becoming a vinegar distributor. Pretty soon, he expanded adding sauerkraut and pickle products to the line up! It wasnt long until the Van Holten family developed the original Pickle-In-A-Pouch in 1939.
